Garden Vegetable Series

The Garden Vegetable series was painted in watercolour for the 2023 Planting Calender Guide. These are the original paintings, totalling fifty-five individual pieces and are available for purchase online. The Planting Guide is a monthly guide on what to plant in the temperate region of Australia (Tasmania’s climate region). 

This project started when I was looking personally for a planting guide online. I found it very hard to locate the relevant information in an easy-to-understand and clear format. My aim was to start focusing more on growing my own vegetables and herbs at home. I thought it would also be beneficial to turn my research into something that other people could also use and benefit from. 

The 2023 Planting Guide Calendar was the fifth edition of the calendar with an entirely new set of illustrations, nearly all of which were on display at Reba Sear.
