Emu Wren
The Southern Emu-wren is extremely small, a fully grown adult reaching only 6cm in body length, with the tail measuring up to 13cm. Named for its tail feathers which look similar to those of the Emu. The Southern Emu-wren favours dense scrubland, coastal heathlands and tea-tree vegetation.
The Tasmanian Christmas Bells is endemic to western Tasmania. It is a perennial herb named for its red bell-shaped flowers that are yellow on the inside. The Tasmanian Christmas Bells grows well among button grass and damp heath.
